Rise n' Shine is a great way that we start our days. After we have had time to complete our planners, enter our lunch count, and begin other independent work to get started, we work through our Rise n' Shine as a class. Rise n' Shine is a great way to work though our morning routines as a class and be productive as late comers trickle in.

The Last Five is how I end lessons in which new information is presented. Either by inquiry or direct instruction, this method allows me to gauge of how the class is feeling with the new content.
