What are Memorization Challenges?

Memorization Challenges are simply extension and enrichment. This is an opportunity for Mr. Schrader's students to go above and beyond. Periodically, memorization challenges will be posed to the class. These challenges are poems and anecdotes that are to be practiced and memorized.

What do I get if I do a Memorization Challenge?

Students who complete a memorization challenge are rewarded by being able to broadcast their memorization challenge on our next StudyCast.

What's the point of this?

This is where you get to shine! The items for the Memorization Challenge are picked for a variety of reasons. They may have powerful things to say, or they may simply be entertaining. In any case, they are interesting. Through repeated readings and increasing memorization, reading fluency can be achieved.
