Our classroom blogs is a place devoted to allowing the students of our class to develop a place to share books that have been read and work that has been completed.. We will share many ideas and items, and we will have an opportunity to comment on each other's work.
Highs and lows is a reflection strategy. It asks students to identify parts of their day that they are proud of and that they did well on, highs, as well as parts of the day that they see as areas to improve on, lows. This provides good discussion and an opportunity for follow up the next day to focus on ways to improve our climate.

Rise n' Shine is a great way that we start our days. After we have had time to complete our planners, enter our lunch count, and begin other independent work to get started, we work through our Rise n' Shine as a class. Rise n' Shine is a great way to work though our morning routines as a class and be productive as late comers trickle in.
