Spring Parent / Teacher conferences are scheduled for February 3 and 4, 2010. Notes confirming scheduled meeting times will be sent home today. For the most part, we have kept the same schedule as in the Fall. Please review the note and check whether the time works for you or not, and return the note to school. Congratulations to our class for reaching their goal of 50 orange bucks in 45 days! We have worked very hard to reach this goal, and as a reward, we have voted to hold a Read and Feed this Friday, January 22, 2010. This means students can bring a pillow and a small snack to school. Toward the end of our day, we will sprawl out around the room and have silent reading time. Snacks should be limited to something small, about the size of a ziplock sandwich bag. If a student does not have a snack, popcorn will be available.

Our next goal is to have 50 orange bucks in 35 days! I'm proud of my students for challenging themselves!
